Helping kids everywhere create what they imagine
How to Host a Scratch Day Event

Scratch Day is a global network of events where people come together to celebrate creativity, coding, and learning through hands-on activities. Whether you're an educator, parent, community leader, or simply a Scratch enthusiast, you can host your own Scratch Day and bring the joy of creative computing to your community!

On this page, you’ll find inspiration to plan, promote, host, and share your Scratch Day event. Follow these four steps to get started:

1. Imagine Your Event

Think about the type of event you’d like to create. Will it be a small workshop, a festival, or an online gathering? Brainstorm with your community. Find activity ideas, a planning checklist, and more in our Organizer Toolkit.
